Vintage Ceramic Trees
Do you remember the ceramic trees with the lights your mom or grandmother made in the 70’s? Now you can make your own using the traditional green glaze or switch it up with one of the pottery glazes. This tree measures 11” high including the base and comes with a light kit and the colored bulbs for the tree.

In this technique class you will learn the secret of adding depth into the crevices of a textured item. Once the shadows have been painted, colored washes are added to finish the design. the leaf will be clear glazed and fired and will need to be picked up at a later date.

There is nothing that says summer more than flowers. You will be creating this daisy design on a 10" plate making it the perfect size for entertaining. In this class you learn how to transfer a pattern, layering color to add depth, and applying the glaze to achieve a watercolor look. That plates will be clear glazed and fired so they are food safe and will need to be picked up at the later date.

In this class you will learn how to transfer a pattern to the plate, then have fun painting the peeps and adding a background. A food safe clear glaze will be applied before firing. Mosaics and Pottery Painting

Reserve a spot for each person that will be attending this 4-H mosaics and pottery painting event. Cost of registration is $10 (no tax)  which will be deducted from the cost of the project chosen when you arrive.

Fused Glass and Pottery Painting

Reserve a spot for each person that will be attending this 4-H fused glass and pottery painting event. Cost of registration is $10 (no tax)  which will be deducted from the cost of the project chosen when you arrive.

Paint the pieces in fun colors so when they are glazed and fired in the kiln you will have a one of a kind birdbath or feeder. Fill the finished product with bird seed or water for the birds or use it for a hanging plant. The pieces will be glazed and fired in our kilns so they can be used indoors or out. The hanging materials are included in this project.

Paint your monster a fun color and give it some hair. This mug will be fun to create and more fun to drink your favorite hot drink from. A food safe clear glaze will be applied before firing.
