Let’s get in the holiday mood with these gnome characters in traditional Scandinavian and Nordic folklore. Whether it is the tonttu of Finland, the tomte of Sweden or the nisse of Norway, these miniature mythical sprites are meant to serve as protectors for the home though they have a tendency to stir up some good-natured mischief every now and then.

Create 4 seasonal glass ornaments using hand tools, colorful glass and a bit of imagination. These fun ornaments will make a great addition to any tree or use them as a package tag. This class will use some glass that may have sharp edges. Students must be able to use a tweezers and follow safety guidelines. Suitable for ages 6 and up. Items will be fired and will need to be picked up at a later date.

You will create this wall hanging on a 12” x 12” stretched burlap. Although the sample MN is done in black and the heart in red you could adjust the colors to suit your decor/taste. There is room on the right to add "Home" or "Est year". The outline of MN will be outlined on each canvas and where you go from there is up to you! Great class for beginners. All supplies and instruction are included.

Enjoy creating a field of flowers using the ancient art of glass fusing. This 6” x 10” glass sun catcher is made by laying colorful glass, stringers and frit which is then fired in a kiln.  High temperature hooks will be added so that a chain or ribbon can be used for hanging. Due to the kiln firings you will need to return to pick up your item at a later date. Class is located at Artistic Me.
